Big Y Community Service Days 2012 - Wilbraham,MA & Cooley St. Springfield, MA Stores

In an effort to show its continued support of the communities they serve, Big Y launched its 2nd annual Community Service Days campaign on April 2, 2012. Initiated last year as a component of Big Y's 75th Anniversary, these volunteer opportunities encourage employees to give back to their local communities. Each location could hold their event in either April or May, and we will attempt to captures as many as we can. Our first highlight combines 2 stores -- Wilbraham and Cooley St. Fourteen volunteers met at the Open Pantry on Chestnut St in Springfield to serve lunch to those in need of a warm meal. We'll feature additional Community Service Days right here on the Big Y World Class Market Channel of YouTube, so check back soon.
