Biker vs Landowner

A civil altercation on a byway in Hindon, Wiltshire (HIND15, The Dene, ST905325). The byway has been blocked every time that I have ridden or walked it. It's wide enough to allow a cycle, motorbike or a horse through but not a car or horse and carriage. Having said that, the metal container has a sharp edge and I wouldn't risk riding a horse past it. The landowner is adamant that the right of way is a footpath. I know full well that it is not and suggests that he either remove me himself or make a note of my registration number and report me for riding on a footpath.
