Who is ready for a CARDIO day? “ME! ME! ME!….. At least that’s what I hope to be hearing from you.
OK Bikini Body Mommies … we are well into our Week 2 and I hope you are finding the workouts FUN, but challenging.
Today I want to address skipped/missed sessions … aka … LIFE. It happens .. we get sick, the kiddos get sick, there’s a million things to do on the calendar .. or we even hit that snooze button one time too many. It happens. Don’t beat yourself up! Instead .. RECOMMIT!
Don’t dwell on what you missed … rather focus on getting back on track. I want YOU to do what you know is best for your personality. I’m often posed with the question “I missed a day, what do I do now?”. The answer is honestly quite simple .. get moving. It’s totally up to you if you want to start with the day you missed … start with the workout that you received in your inbox today, or if you are the type that goes all out and pulls a double so that you can keep up on your days and get those X’s on your CALENDAR. Do what’s best for you … but most of all … do SOMETHING!
As PROMISED … Here is your WORKOUT for DAY 11! It’s a CARDIO TRAINING day

DAY 11
HIP HIP HOORAY for being able to move today! The day off yesterday, albeit unscheduled, was DEFINITELY the right call! It was one of those situations I talk about so often in needing to listen to your body, and my body was broken!
ONWARD…
Today’s workout was a challenge. In an attempt to break up the lactic acid and return some mobility I choose to tackle my workout first thing in the morning before anyone else was awake. While I got it done, I would definitely admit that I was pretty much just going through the motions and not giving it 100%.
THE BIGGER CHALLENGE? My nutrition. Today was a total disaster. I woke up late, and in the midst of trying to squeeze in my workout and get everyone out the door on time (including myself), I totally forgot to make MYSELF breakfast. Four hours, one teacher meeting, and several errands later, I was bombing with anemia at the exact time I found myself staring directly at the front entrance to a Wendy’s.
1 SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH, a small french fry, and diet coke later … I was literally drowning in guilt from feelings of self-sabotage. It carried throughout the day, and where I thought I’d be home prior to the next meal to turn things around — I ended up missing that one too.
Home at 4pm and the only thing I ate ALL DAY was fast food. Not only that, but I had ZERO WATER. I felt like crap. You think the crummy mental and physical state I was in would encourage me to turn things around, but it didn’t. By the time dinner rolled around I had completely thrown in the towel on the day. Everyone voted for take out, I ordered a salad — but the chicken was breaded and I’m sure the dressing had as close to the amount of calories that were in the Misters lasagna.
The victory? It was tiny. I managed to down 2 litters of water before the end of the night. Yep, like I said … t-i-n-y.
The bottom line. Instead of focusing on all that went wrong, I can proudly stand by the fact that today wasn’t a total wash. Why? Because I still got in my workout which was a victory, and even MORE IMPORTANTLY… I made a decision not to let the challenges of today alter my course and DICTATE what will happen TOMORROW.
…Everyday isn’t going to be PERFECT, and that’s ok!
Great job today BIKINI BODY MOMMY! See you tomorrow!
