An invitation from Billy TK senior, to attend his holistic Peace program, designed to uplift and inspire each person, to go into that sacred place of silence and stillness within your being. You can connect and experience the unlimited nature of yourself. This is where the peace is, the love is, the joy is, go there: it is your divine right. Billy's Peace program integrates prayer, ceremony, meditation, live music, 'the message of inner peace', questions and answers, rhythm and dance. Tribe.. He is of the Ngati Kahungunu Tribe and is also connected to the 'Waitaha Nation of Peace' whose roots trace back to Lemuria. Billy was nominated by the Eastern tribes as a member of the ''Kohuiarau Maori Parliament'' and by the Northern chiefs as their Peace Ambassador and United Nations representative. Spiritual.. Billy was bought up around a little village on the North Island NZ called Ratana Paa, named after the famous healer and prophet TW Ratana who came during the 1920's and 30's to heal and inspire the Maori people. His family were followers of Ratana for many years and adhered to his divine teachings of awhi, manaaki, tau te rangimarie, arohatanga o Ihoa. Gather and support yourself and others with the heavenly peace and love of God the Creator. Meditation.. During the early seventies Billy TK senior met and travelled with an Indian man named Mahatma Padathanand who was travelling around NZ speaking on the practice of knowledge: a way of going inside or within yourself and experiencing that peace and tranquility. Mahatma Padathanand was an instructor of Prem Rawat or Maharaji as he is known in India an honored Guru. Billy played the music and the Mahatma spoke on inner peace. Eventually Billy was instructed in the practice of knowledge and meditation and so he has done for over thirty years. This is what he shares and reminds people to do: to go back to your inner self, you have everything you need for fulfillment, satisfaction and completeness. Music.. Billy TK senior is a Kiwi cultural icon and guitar legend; an intense and exciting artist who has entertained crowds in New Zealand and around the world for the past thirty years. Best known for his blistering guitar solos in bands like 'The Human Instinct'and Powerhouse , similar in style of Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton. He is however a man of many parts. A prolific songwriter, he plays stunning acoustic guitar, electric waiata, pulsing pacific rhythms, and tours regularly with his band playing original compositions , psychedelic rock , blues and fusion. Has also been doing shows with fellow NZ guitar guru Doug Jerebine.
