Bioscience building fly by

This is the innovative design by local artist Wolfgang Buttress for a sunscreen covering the front of the new BioCity building, currently under construction in Nottingham. The installation, known as Corona, will form a curtain of metal tubes, 17 metres high, containing LED lights linked to NASA satellite activity by computer. The £30m building, being constructed by Willmott Dixon, is funded by Nottingham City Council and the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership, and will be managed by BioCity Nottingham on behalf of the council. http://www.mynottinghamnews.com/buildings-out-of-this-world-features-unveiled-at-milestone-event
