On day 2 of the ICC trial against Deputy President William Ruto and journalist Joshua Sang, it was expected that the first prosecution witness would conclude her testimony. Instead, the push and pull between the prosecution and the defense teams over Kenya's decision to withdraw from the Rome Statute took the centre stage. The defence and the prosecution further clashed on whether or not all witnesses should be concealed during the trial. Sylvia Chebet has keenly been following the arguments and here now is her report.
