Blackwell Hoping for British And Commonwealth Title

Out on the road today Boxing Media Uk traveled down to Gary Lockett's boxing gym in Cardiff South Wales, here we had the chance to witness some intense training and some great sparing between 24 year old Nick "Bang Bang" Blackwell (16-3-ko6) from Trowbridge, and up coming 21 year old hot prospect Alex "Bad News" Hughes (3-0-ko2) from Maerdy. Blackwell only being 24 years of age, is already sharing the ring with some of the best British's fighters out there, and has a bright future ahead of him, there are some great opportunities coming his way. We asked Blackwell about his last fight back in November 2014 where he faced one of the toughest and experienced boxer out there, Nathan King (14-26-ko1) of Mountain Ash, we also asked when he hoping to back in action and what's coming next? With news of Billy Joe Saunders vacating his commonwealth title, Blackwell is hoping to fight for that title and he's also mandatory for the British title against John Ryder. So 2015 could be a great year for Blackwell.
