'Feelin' Satisfied' is from Boston's 1978 album 'Don't Look Back' and is written by Tom Scholz. Testing my new Schecter to see how it will do with the Boston stuff. I still have some dialing in to do. I tweaked the mids for this - and maybe a little too much. To my ears, I hear a bit of noise behind the guitar sound. But, I'll work on it. The leads sound decent though. I had the guitar way ahead of the mix as well so it could be heard better. Maybe that was it? It's a noisy preset as it is which is a side effect of matching Tom Scholz's tone using digital simulation. It seems to work for the most part though! SIGNAL CHAIN: GUITAR: Schecter C-6 Plus (Named 'Wildfire') - Stock. No mods because they definitely are NOT needed! AMPLIFIER: My PC with Behringer UMC22 U-Phoria USB Interface AMPLIFIER SIM: Guitar Rig 5 with 'Boston Satisfied - Schecter' preset/bank I made and tweaked DIGITAL AUDIO WORKSTATION (DAW): Reaper 64-bit AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING: OBS
