BG Lecture, Springe October 6, 1958, CD 3, Track 3: Well, dear friends, today I have agreed otherwise, which I still have to do a lot. I do not ask you to misunderstand me. I never get to it when I say I'm there then and then, but I can’t. So I take care and said, I'll wait until you're all together, and then I'll start. And then I do not leave sooner, until I have done that, which satisfies myself, what makes me happy, that I have not forgotten the main thing. That I've given you so much on the path that I know you're putting it into action now. And here in Springe you will soon have the opportunity, i. e. that we can be together again. But this is going to be on the 6th of December of this year and what this tells you, this get-together tells you is, first of all, that you are already preparing for this day. And there you will be prepared for that again, so you know: What the birth of Christ means for you, what the life of Christ and what the teaching of Christ means to you. You can only know it, when you know this from your own birth, why, because and how you are here on this earth. Otherwise, as usual, you celebrate your birthday every year. The main birthday, you did not celebrate, even though you were present there. That sounds so funny, but that's the way it is. And you were just geared to celebrate it all these years because you are reminded of it and always say: this is your birthday. It is not your birthday, but this is just the memory day you were born in the year such-and-such, in the hour such-and-such. You should think about that. Since it happened that your body was released for a life on earth. That’s wonderful. My mother carried this my body under her heart. She did it. But this way God has commanded to man. And now I'm allowed to be on my own accord, I also have little feet, I also have a body, as Dad has it, as Mum has it. I am allowed to move freely. Now I'm curious what's up here. But what does your own birth mean to you? A beautiful, a wonderful task, dear friends, until the next hour. And then, on the 6th of December, I will tell you what the birth of Christ means to all of us, means for everyone, for every human being, for every living being. Why God used this body and He became human again. He spoke to the people, showed everything to man. He led him to where he belongs. He gave him so much love. He also gave him evidences. He (Man) could convince himself of this and he could always walk that good way. Many who turned away from Him, who did not believe Him, fell back into evil, were again at the mercy of evil. And so that has continued to propagate. And on this earth humans have not worked on themselves, so that the weeds, the evil grew on them, and they are only surrounded by the evil anymore. And where the hardship and misery are the greatest, dear friends, there is God closest to you. God does not leave anyone. And that's how humanity stands today. The hardship and misery is greatest today. And now God is coming and He calls you. He calls you back, He admonishes you for the good. He exhorts you to what you should be for HIM: That you take the loveliness inside that HE has commanded you to take in now. That you chase evil away, that you have nothing more in common with evil, and that you do only good from now on, because God has given you here one, your - His - earthly life.
