Butler County man charged with animal cruelty after allegedly hanging, beating kitten

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) - Deputies arrested a local man after they say he beat a cat and hanged it with a rope. Andrew Tyler Chilton, 19, of Middletown faces a felony animal cruelty charge. A Butler County dog warden received photos of the dead animal after they say Chilton posted them online. Investigators say about three weeks ago, Chilton hanged his girlfriend's kitten in the basement of a relative's house and hit it with rocks and bricks.
