C-2-1-Z Standing Sean Clamp On Snow Fence installed on a standing seam metal roof

- Drop a chalk line on the roof 12" from the eave. - Count number of Clamps per 10' length and slide them onto the pipe. - If at the start or end of a (50' max) fence section place a Collar on the inside of the first/last Clamp. - Position Clamps on chalk line ensuring the teeth of the Clamps are on the open side of the seam. - Locate Clamps on the seams and tighten the Clamps just enough to prevent movement. - Ensure the Clamps are true to the chalk line and using a calibrated torque wrench torque all bolts 30 ft-lbs. - The Pipe should not extend more than 6" past the last Clamp. Upon terminating if necessary, cut off access Pipe and seal cut end with weather proof sealant to prevent corrosion. - Slide the Collar to fit snugly against the first or last Clamp and torque set screw to approx. 15 ft-lbs. - Install End Caps into Pipe ends, Caps should compression fit inside ends. Tap with a hammer and remove any metal burrs or excess paint with metal file if necessary. - At every 10' section install a union to align and hold fence together.
