Ultra rare footage of the Kilbarrack duo 'C-Quence' (Stephen & Alan) rockin out live when they supported NR:GEX at the Ormond. They used 2 Amiga PC's, 2 TV's, a Keyboard, a Tape Deck, a Mixer and the all important Tracker Software (+Dongle ;-) to create this sound.
The distinct 'crunch' from the samples were what made the early underground sound of sampled dancemusic,.... with less then a Megabyte of overall memory you really needed to squeeze as much out of it (or should that be) to squeeze as much into it - 8bit audio samples @ 22kHz (and sometimes 11kHz) banging out through a 10,000watt PA rig was heaven - Dirty Scruffy 4 to the Floor Bangin' Beats Drivin' Non-Stop. - Move it Everybody !!!!!!!
Bring back the good aul'days.... ahhhh. ;-)
