CAMPLIBS: Born to Flip - Chapter 3

Flips just simply aren't cool anymore. Will some serious soul searching be the answer Brandon needs to get him back in the game? Brandon Schmidt (the main character) was a dry land snowboarding camper that eventually found his way into the Woodward Digital Media Camp program as a video intern. Brandon discovered his passion for filming was not as strong as his passion for action sports and riding. Meanwhile Brendan Hall (the writer and director of Born to Flip) a digital media camper that rose through ranks as an intern and then eventually video production staff was given the opportunity to start a short film series for Camp Woodward called Camplibs. This series is a project where we write a script, leave out blanks like the old MadLibs and hand the script out to campers to fill in the blanks. The input from our campers make our script both fun and challenging. With script in hand we take to camp and make the film. This Camplibs script was written by former digital media camper Brendan Hall about his fellow digital media staff and friend, Brand Schmidt’s wild journey from life at Camp Woodward into the Nitro Circus Live family. It’s a zany tale that will take you from the skateparks of Camp Woodward where Brandon hangs with his crew known as the Wolfpack to a thieving business man named Quantatious Shanigan who turns Brandon’s best friend Zane Bradley against him. Spins become the newest concept in action sports leaving Brandon to question everything. After a car accident 3000 miles away Brandon goes through a life changing evening gaining wisdom from an Amish man. Brandon runs back to Camp Woodward and to prove his worth and ability to the members of Nitro Circus Live!
