Can I Get EA Access with Xbox Gift Card – EA Access Subscription Gift Card Won’t Work

EA Access 12-Month Subscription: http://amzn.to/2jqjsck I’ve received quite a few questions asking if you can use an Xbox Gift Card to buy the EA Access membership. So in this quick video, I’ll explain the situation. EA Access is available for $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year. Seems pretty straight-forward but Microsoft isn’t the best at explaining what you can buy with their gift cards. So the short answer is no… You cannot buy an EA Access membership with your Xbox Gift Card. Microsoft Points don’t work either. And there’s not really any good explanation for this. It’s a Microsoft policy. It’s definitely a bummer if you just got some gift cards you want to use. So here are your options for buying an EA Access membership. First, you can use a credit card linked to your Xbox account. But many people don’t have a credit card or don’t want to give Microsoft their credit card number. The only other way is to buy an EA Access digital code from an online reseller. My choice would be at Amazon.com. On Amazon, once you buy the code, it will be emailed to you within a few minutes. Then just go to your Xbox to redeem the code. But right now. Amazon seems to only have 12-month subscriptions. Another option is buying at Xbox.com but that essentially is the same as giving Microsoft your credit card number to buy EA Access. I haven’t been able to confirm whether physical EA Access cards at brick-and-mortar stores exist at this time. The only thing I found at Best Buy was the EA Cash Card but that only works on Origin.com for their PC based games. Not for Xbox games. So the choices are very limited.
