The best thing about the Model 3 is that it they all come with autonomous mode. The Model 3 is a great move by Tesla to push autonomous driving to the masses and that's what this car was designed for. Tesla plans on releasing the $35k Model 3 later this year but for early reservation holders who want to take delivery sooner than later they are looking at a $60k price point for the extended long range battery and the premium options. THIS IS A GREAT $35k-$40k CAR! However in my opinion the value that you get in the early version Model 3's does not measure up to the price tag. On Teslas website you can now find CPO Model S WITH AUTOPILOT for as low as $52k and prices are slowly but surely starting to come down. For me I would purchase a Certified Pre-Owned Model S with Autopilot vs. the model 3. *I do stand corrected that you do not actually have to rub the key against the B Pillar rather just hover over it. At the time of the rental the owner did instruct me to actually rub the key against the pillar hence the pre-existing scratches.
