The past week has seen horrible incidents of violence against minorities across various states in India. From the death of two victims in Mangalore (https://bit.ly/2Sl8xjV) to 18 dead in the state of Uttar Pradesh (https://bit.ly/2MrKGvg), police brutality has claimed the lives of many. Assam saw the loss of five lives. (https://bit.ly/36WqoSm). Anti-Corruption and RTI Activist Akhil Gogoi were booked under the amended UAPA Act on charges of sedition and conspiracy. (https://bit.ly/364rEm8). A social activist was also arrested and brutally beaten up while in police custody (https://bit.ly/2sZxmqQ). Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekar Azad Ravan was also arrested and sentenced to 14 days in Tihar Jail. (https://bit.ly/2rmatxq)
