I filmed this with my 5D Mark IV - This link has a certified refurbished 5D for less than the EOS-R:

Here's the EOS-RP for sale. It's honestly a great camera for entry level moving to full frame photographers:

For a video about different frame rates and what they do to your video, check this out so that you can get clarification on what happens to your footage:

Credit to Matthew Vandeputte for showing me a few sights in London and helping me with some time lapse locations! He's incredible! Sub to his channel! He's a great guy!

Keep in mind that it's mostly with panning really fast that you'd see issues with skipped frames.
So in this video, I talk about the EOS-RP, my thoughts, and the fact that I really do think this camera can be a good entry level camera for those wanting to jump into full frame. It's the price that gets me. But unfortunately, there are a lot of decisions that frustrate users, and might force many to choose a different system. Maybe Canon will offer a firmware update? Maybe not. But this little hack will at least get you close to the 24p that you're looking for in a lot of your footage and it's pretty easy to do! Check it out and enjoy.
