CapitalTV: First Wish of Maryam Nawaz After Her Release from Jail

Senator Mushahidullah Khan, while speaking in program Awaam said, “ Maryam Nawaz told him on the day of release that she was told that she might be released with Nawaz Sharif still in jail. Had that happened, I would have camped outside the jail till he was released. I would not say that the bail of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz Sharif is the victory of justice rather I will call it the victory when innocents will be declared innocents; it is partially done. Indian decision of reverting back from peace-dialogues wasn’t justifiable at all but so was the tweet by Imran Khan. The world has “viewed the conduct of both countries in the episodes of peace-dialogue. India claims to be the biggest democracy and criticize us for being ruled by military dictators, but India has been sabotaging peace dialogues. Nawaz Sharif stood firm and strong despite being separated from his wife, who was on death bed, and held in detention despite being innocent. Nawaz Sharif refused to bow his head; and then he, his family and his party suffered. All those things which could have exposed rigging were banned in the elections, such as reach of media and cellphones. This happens nowhere that you keep the polling agents out of counting process.”
