CARA - You Were Mine

Hello, my Friends! This music video of my song, "You Were Mine", was made during my most recent trip to Poland. It was this past August, 2016. I was traveling there to see my relatives, and make new friends while visiting amongst the proud and passionate Polish people. I always love learning more about my Polish heritage, culture, and language, so I try to do this at least once a year. While in Warsaw this past August, I recorded this video with Jan Sumikowski, our European videographer. He is now my friend, but I met him through our mutual friend and my Producer, Brian J. Trim. I had so much fun making the video while walking through the streets of Old Warsaw, singing my lyrics out loud to no music, and getting odd looks from passersby. Fortunately, I worked for many years as a music teacher while attending University, so I am used to doing things that draw attention; and with my out-of-the-box sense of humor, I am also used to funny looks. :) I am currently working on preparing my band for our first European tour we hope to produce next summer. We want to begin the tour in Poland. While there, I will able to record more music videos with Jan, and I can’t wait to work with him again! He is a great artist with a keen eye and artistic sensibility. He is also a very kind person; and he makes sure there is always amazing food involved! Great food will tend to make me return somewhere and is one of my favorite parts about Poland. I work with a terrific team of people both at home and in Poland. They are, quite honestly, more like a family to me than a musical production team. When we get together to make music, it feels more like getting together with good friends. I am quite blessed to have such a great team on my side. We are presently assembling sponsorships among patrons, businesses, and organizations who wish to get involved with us at this point in time for next year's 2017 introductory tour in Poland and Europe.
