Carter Military Yurt on the Ashley National Forest in Utah

The Carter Military Yurt can be reserved from June through October at Recreation.gov. During the winter months, the Carter Military Yurt is used primarily as a snowmobile warming hut. The yurt can be accessed by snowmobile in the winter by riding 25 miles out by the white cloud loop by East Park and then you can head out the White Cloud Loop by Oaks Park or you can head down Browning Canyon down to Dry Fork. These routes are groomed. All yurts and cabins are pack it in, pack it out facilities. So if you bring it in, you bring it out. Pack it in, pack it out. Keep it clean, keep it green.
