Stephen Leacock's Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town was published 100 years ago and yet it remains a classic of Canadian comedic literature. 60 years after its first television adaptation, Sunshine Sketches is back this Sunday as CBC TV movie at 8pm. Starring Canadian icons Gordon Pinsent and Jill Hennessy, the Sunshine Sketches movie weaves actual events in Leacock's life into his immortal stories.
