*What is CCD? CCD stands for Content Creation and Distribution. Content is defined as anything we can watch, read, or listen to such as movies, television, books, music or podcasts. Distribution is defined as how we receive that content. With the proliferation of handheld devices such as smartphones and tablets, computers and internet connected TVs; the ability to create new digital content and distribute it directly to the public has never been easier.
*Why is the CCD Expo in Loomis? With the introduction of inexpensive high definition digital cameras and recording equipment, as well as the internet providing a path for digital distribution to and from anywhere in the world, a small town such as Loomis proves the concept that you can create content and distribute it from anywhere.
*Who is going to be at the CCD Expo? Thousands of people are expected in Loomis over the two days including movie and music producers, talent agencies, local colleges, actors and musicians, and hundreds of businesses exhibiting their products and services. Experts in the movie, television, music, and internet marketing fields will be there to discuss the future of media and how it will change the way we live and work.
*What does it cost to attend the Expo? There is no cost to attend the Expo during the day, including the free entertainment and exhibits. Conference panels and concerts are $25 for VIP seating and just $10 for general admission.
