Checking out the Free Camping on Mittry Lake AZ, Feb. 2016

Lots a nice wide open free camping in this area of BLM Land about 10 miles N. of Yuma AZ. You'll have to get lucky and grab a lakeside spot that opens up if someone leaves. That doesn't look like too often. The lakeside camping is right on the road, so get ready for lots a dust if it's calm out. If you drive farther north past Mittry Lk there's several areas to camp off the road that are nice. Lots a boondocking possibilities if you get out and look around.
