Chess Trap #15 Double Freddie Black

Sent in from 122nerdbombs: Here's a good one. It's called the "Double Freddie". It's a good trick to play on an unsuspecting victim. The moral of it is... don't castle in certain positions! Here it is: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. d3 Nf6 5. Nc3 d6 6. Bg5 0-0?! 7. Nd5 a7-a6 8. Nxf6+ g7xf6 9. Bh6 Re8 10. Nh4 b5 (threaten bishop) 11. Qf3 bxc4 12. Qg3+ Kh8 13. Qg7# OR... 8. Bxf6 g7xf6 9. Qd2 b5 (Kg7 would be better) 10. Qh6 b5xc4 11. Nxf6+ Kh8 12. Qh7#
