Chop Suey

One iconic American painter plus six playwrights plus nine directors plus thirty-nine actors plus one Patrick Brennan divided by the square root of Stephanie Hoerner times the sum total of Mary Jo Bolduc and Joe Janes = "Nighthawk Sandwich," a.k.a., the alternate/Wednesday night version of WNEP Theater's "The (edward) Hopper Project," produced in the winter of 2010 in cooperation with the city of Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs. "Chop Suey" was the fourth piece of the show and was inspired by the painting of the same name. It was written by Cholley Kuhaneck, directed by Dave Goss, and starred Nicolle Van Dyke, Gene Van Dyke, Jess Jones, Diane W., and Scott Whitehair.
