Chord Overstreet Exits 'Glee'

I'm Joslyn Davis coming to you from our ClevverTV Hollywood headquarters with some very sad news for Glee fans. Chord Overstreet, who we all fell in love with as Sam Evans on Glee, will not be returning to Glee as a series regular next season. This means that while we might see Sam in a few episodes here and there, he will not be appearing as prominently as before. This is pretty surprising; especially when you consider that at the close of last season there were several unanswered questions about Sam. First, there's his family's financial situation -- if you'll recall, Sam and his family were homeless and living out of a small motel room. And second, there was the super-secret romance brewing between Sam and Mercedes that rose to the surface in the season finale. So what do you guys think about this Glee change-up? For the record, both Harry Shum Jr. and Darren Criss were signed on as regulars, which is great news, but we're still sad about Chord Overstreet nonetheless. If Chord's twitter account is any indication of how he's doing, well then, it's safe to say he's ok. As the news was breaking, the actor tweeted out: "Well, it's been a good year. Too bad it's over.
