Christopher Norton writes, "The music upon which this arrangement is based is often used to accompany a highly-regarded text by Taiwanese poet Li Lim-chhiu (1909-1979). It tells the story of a young girl waiting hopefully for the man she has fallen in love with to visit her. She hears a sound at the door, but is disappointed when she realizes it was caused by the wind." Recorded in the historic Shakespeare & Company bookstore in Paris.
