CLASH/SNME STREAM: Can Savage and Sting Overcome The Odds?

Follow Me On Twitter = @pscrazyplace Review Grades: Saturday Night's Main Event XVIII, Nov 1988 = D (Skip It) - The Andre/Savage title match is fun and a big match for the show, but this edition of SNME is lacking due to a bunch of quick squash matches, and a Brother Love Show segment with Hulk Hogan that dragged a bit. Clash of the Champions XVII, Nov 1991 = A (Must See) - After a long string of bad Clashes, WCW bounces back with a very solid show centered around the Sting injury angle and how it impacted the US Title match with Rick Rude. The WCW Tag Title match on this show is also a must see and the best Clash match of the 90s thus far. There is some of the usual dead material on this event, but the main angle and Tag Title match were enough to keep me invested, and some other matches like the Luger/Steiner main event are solid as well.
