Cold Start 1913 Excelsior Racer 7 SC

This is a freshlky restored ORIGINAL 1913 Excelsior Racer 7 SC. This motorcycle was found hanging over a fireplace mantle in California. Restoration managed by the seller. Johnny Eagles was commisioned to build the engine and the magneto. When the motorcycle waqqs sold Jiohnny was detailed to start the bike in order for this museum quality biuild to be proven to be a real runner. Because of the original hogh speed cams and the hiogh speed carb, this engine was very difficult ti get ready to start! Veryt minor movements of the high speed neddle and the race model intake finally resulted in this machine starting. What you see here is the 4th time in 2 days we started the bike and let it run in a bit 61 inch motor with major cams and carb, direct drive to the wheel wheels, she is a real challenge to pedal start! Top speed estimated to be 90 mph. Single speed, hard tail, no brakes. Ain't she a brute!
