Darinka Matić Marović has been conducting the Academic Choir Collegium Musicum permanently since 1971. Led by her expert, strong hand, clear idea, energy and enthusiasm, more than 300 female students of the Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade have had the opportunity to perform music and to reach the highest level of choral interpretation.
Darinka Matić Marović has conducted numerous renowned domestic and world-famous orchestras such as the Armenian Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Radio Television Zagreb Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of South East Europe, the Montenegro Symphony Orchestra, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra... She has also conducted pieces of music for soloists, choir and orchestra: Requiem and the Kronungsmesse (Coronation Mass) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi, Messa di Gloria by Giacomo Puccini, Te Deum by Anton Bruckner, Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, cantata Alexander Nevsky by Sergei Prokofiev, The Magnificat by Johann Sebastian Bach and many other pieces of domestic and world musical heritage. Darinka Matić Marović deserves great credit for presenting works composed by contemporary authors. She has performed more than 300 premieres of domestic pieces of music in her career.
