The latest hatchback from the Indian car maker Tata tiago and chervolet beat 2017, Tata Tiago has been crafted on a new platform with a design philosophy never seen before in Tata cars. The Tiago is offered in both diesel and petrol avatars with prices ranging between Rs 3.2 lakh and Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The former is a 1.05-litre unit that generates 70PS of peak power and a peak torque of 140Nm while the latter is a 1.2-litre engine that churns out 85PS and 114Nm. The Tiago delivers a claimed mileage of 23.84kmpl and 27.28kmpl for the petrol and diesel respectively. Tata will soon introduce the AMT version of the Tiago (around the festive season); the petrol AMT will be launched first and the diesel version will come in later. Tata Tiago hatchback was recently launched in India at a starting price of 3.2 lakh (introductory; ex-showroom, Delhi). Hoping to carve a niche in the compact vehicle segment, Tata Motors' Tiago compact hatchback gets 5 variants (XB, XE, XM, XT, and XZ) + 3 optional safety variants for each engine option. One must note the three optional safety variants cost an additional 18,000 over the selected trim's price. On other hand we have new Motors has revealed the production-spec 2017 MY Beat for India. It is based on the Chevrolet Beat Active concept showcased at the Auto Expo. Chevrolet has confirmed confirmation that the replacement for the Beat is a heavily revised version of the current car. Since the next-generation Spark is proving to be too expensive for India’s price-sensitive market. The new Beat is based on a new flexible platform and will spawn multiple models. These include the Essential notch back and the Beat Active Crossover. Test mules of the new model Chevrolet Beat were spotted on Indian roads recently and the car should reach showrooms by early 2017.
