Congressman Steve King: "No Exceptions To Life" Press Conference

On Friday, August 23 Congressman Steve King held a "No Exceptions to Life" Press Conference in Des Moines, IA. The purpose of the press conference was to reiterate the importance of maintaining a "no exceptions" position on abortion in federal and state legislation. King is the lead sponsor of HR 490, the Heartbeat Protection Act, which gained 174 cosponsors in the previous Congress while maintaining a strong, pro-life "No Exceptions" position. In addition, King played a significant role in the drafting and passage of Heartbeat legislation within the state of Iowa. King was joined at the press conference by Rebecca Kiessling, President of Save the 1; Tim Overlin, Executive Director of Personhood Iowa; Tamara Scott, Host of Truth For Our Time, and Tammy Kobza of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles.
