Contra 3: Stage 1 (Hard)

The first part of this stage is pretty hectic, so it's easy to mess up and get killed. The boss gives me lots of trouble on this difficulty setting. You could get right in front of the weak spot and unload spreader shots; depending on how fast the boss shoots those bullets at you, you might beat it in a matter of seconds (at the cost of one life). I wasn't happy to lose a life, but it won't set me back that much.
