Controlling LM2596 buck-converter with microcontroller
Edit: More accurate voltage source using DAC and voltage ref: https://youtu.be/54DA69kT8Jo
I'm back! This time I wanted to demonstrate one simple solution to something that gets often asked on forums: How to control LM2596 buck-converter with an Arduino or another microcontroller.
Update for clarification: Circuit shown in this video needs to have really stable power supply for the microcontroller, as the PWM signal's amplitude depends on the power supply. So any changes on power supply's voltage will affect the amplitude of the generated voltage and therefore the buck-converter's output voltage.
I was accidentally talking about "When output is 0v", but output won't actually go that low... Effect is still as marginal though.
