People tend to be busier, their attention that they are willing to spend on a website is lower than it used to be. So a very important conversion optimization strategy that's designed to improve or increase the chances of someone actually taking action on your website, is to simplify your homepage. To have a minimal amount of text and use features like prominent links and buttons and video, possibly a slideshow, opt-in forms, quick contact forms in order to drive your web visitor to the area you're hoping to drive them to. And simplifying the homepage by making it easy to digest, meaning when someone hits your homepage, knowing that you only have 10 or 15 seconds to hold that visitor before they bounce, to have it laid out in a simplified way so they know exactly where to go when they arrive on the homepage.
