How does a corset affect the lungs? If the lungs are compressed either by the corset or by the displaced organs will it affect long term health? Lungs supply oxygen to the whole body. The less oxygen the body gets the less able we can think clearly. The brain needs an abundance of oxygen. The whole body needs abundant oxygen to maintain good health. Infections are more difficult to overcome with a decrease of lung capacity. "I and my friends can breath..." Yes but how much corset use is too much? How much of your ability to think are you willing to part with? What quality of health do you want 20 years from now?
