Create a Wooden License Plate for a Car, Truck, Boat, Bike - Easy DIY Intarsia Project

A wooden license plate is a quick and easy DIY woodworking project that anyone can make with limited tools and experience. Dress up your car, truck, bike, boat, or other vehicle with a one of a kind plate. These also make great gifts for any sports fan, auto enthusiast, truck driver, car collector, racing fan, soccer mom, etc! http://www.thecarmichaelworkshop.com Tips: Search Google Images to find logos. Select a simple logo that will be easy to cut out. Use contrasting woods and thicknesses to add color variation and depth. You can use a coping saw, jig saw, scroll saw, or band saw. Use Titebond II wood glue for exterior applications. Apply a weather resistant finish. Use thin wood (1/4" or less) as thicker wood may require longer screws. Check your local laws regarding front license plates. Be sure to fasten the plate securely to your vehicle.
