Hey everybody! It’s been a while. Yes, I am still alive. As I mentioned on Facebook, I transitioned into full-time work a little over a year ago. While that has decreased my free time and hampered my arranging and creative rhythm a little bit, I also hit a significant wall where I couldn’t find the inspiration and ideas to complete a single arrangement I was satisfied with. This particular piece has been the result of many months of on and off arranging, and I’ve been continuously trying to push through until now where I finally reached a point where I was happy with my creation. Along with my gradual return to Youtube will be a distinct change in my content. While I’ve never exclusively branded myself as an anime pianist, most of my arrangements up until this point have come from anime. Yes, my musical interests have shifted. No, I have not abandoned anime OSTs/JPop/JRock, though you will probably see a little less of it around here in the future. I have always intended this channel to be a reflection of my current self as a musician, without forcing myself to arrange songs that may be popular but don’t vibe with me/fit my style for the sake of catering to an audience. I hope you all still stick around through this change and my continuous musical journey, though I won’t be offended if you decide to leave.
