-In cs1.6 both viewpoint kickback (the recoil movement of the screen) and mouse movement are applied on every frame -In CS:Source mouse movement is updated for every frame but viewpoint kickback only tickrate frames per second. This causes the game to look jerky if looked at by a high speed camera. I feel this is the main reason why CS:Source does not have as good a "feel" to the game, compared to CS1.6. For example, recoil on tick66 is more "random" than on tick100 because of this issue. With Global Offensive coming out, I hope to spread awareness of this issue. Possible fixes I can imagine are interpolating recoil (exactly like regular WASD movement is interpolated) or by capping fps to tickrate.
