Cubby The Hero, Leg Amputation GRAPHIC

Cubby was sleeping soundly at his foster parent's home when he was woken up in the middle of the night by two men trying to break into the house through the side door. Cubby immediately started barking and charged for them. He chased them back into their truck and his foster parents made it outside just in time to see Cubby get run over as the truck sped away. Cubby saved the day, as nothing was stolen, but his humerus was shattered. The owner's of the house were just fostering Cubby, and not financially ready to pay for a serious surgery like he needed. Luckily he was brought to Vet Ranch and the entire procedure was funded by our generous internet donors!!! Update: The foster family decided that after all Cubby has been through, he deserved to live with them forever.
