Wanted to compare an Innova overmold cross section to an MVP. Cutting it apart makes me wonder why they have the 4 "compass points,"because the plastics seemed fused together well. I'm guessing it has to do with their molding process rather than keeping the overmold on the disc. I'm curious why there was separation between the two plastics within the overmold as well, that was unexpected.
