DIY cutting 1-1/4" quartz counter top. Support well underneath with a couple planks and a piece of foam. Done outside in my trailer bed to minimize the cleanup. Took many passes, each about 1/8" deep. Used standard Ryobi wet-saw with diamond dust blade from Home Depot. This saw has an adjustable water jet that sprays water onto the blade via connected garden hose. I used a drywall T-Square and a couple C clamps to make a solid fence to guide the saw. Used a piece of cardboard to shield from the water splash-back onto my legs. And most importantly "MEASURE 4 TIMES, CUT ONCE"...!! Cheers and thanks for watching.
