Dallas ISD Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic heritage month is a celebration of the historical and cultural contributions of Americans with Spanish, Mexican, Caribbean, and Central and South American ancestries. Arturo Salazar Elementary School celebrated with a variety of activities. Students dressed in traditional costumes and the parents served traditional food and drinks. District 7 Trustee, Audrey Pinkerton also made an appearance. The W. E. Greiner Mariachi Band played some fantastic music which put everyone in a festive mood.
