Dancing Chairman

Funny and sad, the chairman looses his temper and looks like he is performing a theatre play. Especially the voter who is walking pass him and the funny dance of the chairman are interesting. On may 21st parliamentary elections were held in Georgia. I was stationed as an observer in Zugdidi. In this video-clip the commissionmembers and observers have an argument on voter registration. The adress on the voters ID and the adress on the list do not coincide. To be noted: a lot of internal displaced people (IPD) have their old adress on their ID-card. In Zugdidi a lot of IDP's live, because it is close to the border with Abkhazia (separist region). The IDP's do have another extra card, which they had to take with them to the elections, with their new adress on it. The guy in the white blouse is the chairman. The women in green an observer for united opposition. The old lady in black a commissionmember from the united oppossition.
