Dark Souls 2: Complete Navlaan's Assasination Questline without Killing Any NPC's!

This questline can be long,confusing and cause you to lose out on some merchants, friends, and even levelling up! So if you want to help the homicidal prisoner of Aldia's Keep but still be able to live with yourself here's how! The first target is Gilligan and Navlaan wants his mini ladder as proof of his death. This is easy to obtain as all you have to do is recruit Gilligan and return him to Majula. Once there he will act as a merchant and allow you to buy his ladder for 8000 souls. Next up is Cale, a more defenseless target you could not find. In order for Cale to hand you his helm without putting up a fight just play the main story! Once the final boss is down and the credits roll every flame in the Majula mansion will be lit and Cale's quest will be complete. However this does cause him to lose his mind and hand you his clothes, but oh well. Your penultimate victim is Felkin the Hexer and, unless your'e playing as a Hex character, this will prove to be the most frustrating item to obtain. For Felkin to give up the goods you will require 20 in both your INT and FTH stats. A soul vessel may be needed but if you don't have the stats to use magic and don't want to waste a soul vessel, this may be one mage whose goose is cooked. Last on the list is our one true waifu, the Emerald Herald! While this may be the most dramatic target of all, she's also the easiest to keep alive. When you reach the Dragon Aerie she will give you the feather required by Navlaan for absolutely nothing! Considering the Aerie is the area directly after you meet the scheming sorcerer it may be best to keep the Herald around. Following completion of the quest Navlaan will become a merchant and sell you some interesting armor, as well as some greatarrows. The first item will net you the dispelling ring, a ring which increases defence against all elements. The second target will get you a Simpleton's Spice for all your sorcery needs. The third contract will reward you the forbidden sun pyromancy and completing the quest chain grants the powerful unleash magic spell. Remember that under no circumstances should you release Navlaan as it will void the questline, and you will miss out on the rewards, Navlaan as a merchant, and he will also pester you as an invader for the rest of the playthrough!!
