Ok so as the title may suggest had another wake up call.
Was set for 170kg x 5 which according to my calculator would put me back at my previous best in terms of 1RM strength. I only managed three reps and they was sloppy, bad reps. You will see some side to side, almost twisting movement in the reps and this is indicative of what I need to work on. My QL is screaming at me again... it needs to fully recover and get stronger and I am going too fast for it.
My form was off, I should have pointed my feet out more and pushed knees out to get a bit deeper in to it. I did some pendlay rows last night which will be in the next video that highlight how I SHOULD start my deadlift as it puts me into a much more optimal position.
Meh...
Probably going to use my trap bar for a while and do snatch grip deadlifts for reps with a lighter weight as this hits plenty of meat in the back.
Thanks for watching!
