Delonghi Magnifica ESAM 3200S - undicht - leaking

Using the nice repair instructions on http://www.kaffee-welt.net (a page in german, requires login to download the instructional pdfs) I was able to open a Coffee Machine from Delonghi (model and make: Magnifica ESAM 3200S) to further inspect why 2 thirds of the coffee don't make it into my coffee mug. Instead the 2 thirds or more leak as pure water sideways within the machine, either into the drip pan or even worse, below the machine. Does the thermal block need replacement or do I get away with changing some membrans? Could something else be the issue? Seeking help on this issue, Thank you.
