Prime Time takes a walk around the Reserve Bank of India's office in Delhi where people from various parts of the country have queued up with the hope that the officers may show some consideration and exchange their demonetised currency with new notes. We find a large number of old people who had hidden little treasures of currency notes in some part of their homes and had forgotten about them; and when they located the notes, they could no longer get them exchanged with valid notes because the Dec 31 deadline for currency swap had ended. Will the government be able to give them some consideration and help them utilise their hard earned money by exchanging their currency notes with new notes? Should these poor people bear the brunt of an action by the government that was targeted at black money hoarders? We ask. (Audio in Hindi)
