Destiny 2 Opulence - BEST LEGENDARY SHARD FARM! The Menagerie holds some amazing rewards. It also plays host to the absolute best and fastest way to farm legendary shards. This strategy takes advantage of the ability to loot the final chest; most have been focusing on getting god roll Menagerie weapons, but from a farming perspective you'd be hard pressed to find something more efficient. This will work regardless of how much you have upgraded your chalice of opulence, but will work even better if you have Rune Bonus 2 and Rune Bonus 3. Rune Bonus 2 will give you back one of your runes. If you only apply one Rune to your chalice, you're guaranteed to get it back. Therefore, you will not lose any runes using this method if you have bonus 2. Rune bonus 3 gives a chance at double drops; it's roughly a 30-50% chance, which will dramatically increase your legendary shard totals in the long run. Another great thing about this method is that it will give you a ton of gunsmith materials, along with enhancement cores. Additionally, you will have a nice amount of god roll weapons as well!
