Destiny 2 - WHISPER OF THE WORM SOLO - SEASON OF OPULENCE With a lot of new players coming into Destiny 2, and the changes to weapons and armor during Opulence, I wanted to make a reprised version of the solo guide for Whisper of the Worm. Whisper is still an amazing weapon, and who doesn't like hearing the sound / sight of a new exotic popping up? For this mission, I'm using Titan with the void subclass. I'm using the bottom tree Sentinel subclass, with the Doom Fang exotic gauntlets. This is highly effective at taking out many adds, even the arc shielded Taken Centurions at the end. In the beginning, I use Lion Rampants to make it through the jumping puzzle more quickly. Here is a more in-depth explanation of the jumping puzzle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iuyr16fusQY My weapons are: Transfiguration Scout Rilfe with Taken Spec - Last Wish Raid Ikelos Shotgun - Escalation Protocol Level 7 Boss drop Hammerhead Machine Gun - Black Armory Forge weapon Jotunn Fusion - Rare drop from Bergusia Forge with powerful frame On my armor, I have mixture of special + heavy ammo finder, machine gun reserves + scavenger. Ammo drops are super important towards success or failure here. With mods, I have super mods and ordinance mods, but also Taken Armaments and Taken Repurposing. These are from Last Wish raid, and can be obtained from the free raid chest.
